Our move to paper-based blister labels

In 2023, we at Aforall embarked on a significant sustainability journey, saying goodbye to PVC and embracing paper-based blister labels for our Pharmacy House business.

Conducting tests in June and completing the in November, we are proud to say that our labels are now 100% sourced from renewable forests, contributing to SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).

This shift is an upgrade; not only does it prioritize patient-friendly  packaging (pre-cut around pills for easy retrieval) but it also reduces our carbon footprint of approximately 20 tons of CO2 emissions every year.

The transition to paper material is not just a practical choice; it’s a technological one too. Paper fits effortlessly with modern technologies like digital printing and laser cutting and prepares us for the upcoming transition to recycled paper materials.

Building on our commitment, this initiative harmonizes with our existing use of paper-based materials for various initiative.

Looking ahead, our dedication extends beyond labels; A.forall plans to transition to recycled paper/carton for all packaging materials in our Pharmacy House and Generics business.

We hope to inspire you and invite you to be part of our journey toward a more sustainable future. 🌍
